Red Bull F1 drives most performers ahead of 2017 Japanese GP

Red Bull F1 drivers (powered by Renault engines) are leading the race performance ranking. Both Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen dominate the ranking. What they lack in qualifying, they have plenty during the race. Ricciardo best race performances were at the British GP (started 19th and finished 5th), Italian GP (started 16th and finished 4th) and Azerbaijan (first win in 2017), in all those races he gain multiple race positions.

Verstappen has had a very difficult 2017 Formula One campaign: multiple unfinished races by technical failures and also crashes. His best race performances: China (started 16th and finished 3rd) and of course his race win at Malaysia.

Ferrari and Sebastian Vettel complete the top 3, the German driver is targeting to win the championship this year. Best race performance in Malaysia where Vettel started 20th and finished 4th.

Surprisingly, Canadian driver Lance Stroll (Williams) is in fourth place. Stroll has managed to finished multiple times within the top 10. No podium yet for the young Canadian, but high hopes are expected for the future to come.

Rounding the top 5 is Mexican driver Sergio Perez (Force India). He was very close to finish in the podium at the Spanish Grand Prix. Best race performance in Bahrain where he started 17th and finished 7th.
