MotoGP 2011 Catalunya: Race Reviews

    • The Catalunya MotoGrandPrix! Marco Simoncelli on pole position but did not deliver the expected win. He was strong most of the weekend, probably he does not feel comfortable in the wet, althought it did not rain as expected.
Casey Stoner was really in another planet. He got to first place at first corner and cruise to his second win of the year. Unfortunately Dani Pedrosa did not race, he is really unlucky, again injured and who knows when he will be back in the race. Kudos to him.
Valentino Rossi once again consistent with the Ducati to finish fifth, the most he can aspire at the moment. Spies finally up there in the podium on a well deserved third place.
And what of Lorenzo, very competitive as always coming second place, but unable to set the pace. It appears that Yamaha has lost some momentum... would it be the departure of Valentino or just the Hondas are much more competitive this year? We shall see in the next races.
