MotoGP 2011 San Marino: Race Reviews

    • Something happen to Stoner in this race, he said that he was unable to keep the pace to the point that Pedrosa passed him. Maybe too much stress, or he is again suffering from that strange disease?

Lorenzo took the opportunity to win the race and get the max points available. Now the title hunt is closer and if Stoner can not put it together Lorenzo may well be a double MotoGP champion.

Fierce battle between the trio of Simoncelli, Dovizioso and Spies, with the american losing to both of them. I was hoping to see Spies performing better on the Factory Yamaha but is either than all support goes to Lorenzo or Spies may need an extra year to get used to the factory environment.

Rossi a lonely seventh place. Whatever happens to Rossi? it is unknown. Lots of speculation about the Ducati GP11 or GP11.1 wherever you want to call it. Motomatters.com published a very interesting article about the trouble with the ducati desmosedici a must read for any motogp fan!
